HELLO, AND WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO. I’M MAYA LOPEZ.

With an MBA from Columbia Business School and a background that spans retail innovation, editorial work, and brand consulting, I’ve had the opportunity to shape experiences for some of the world’s most influential names. At fashion-tech startup FIT:MATCH, I launched groundbreaking fitting technology with Savage X Fenty and Macy’s, spearheaded product innovation in digital twins and virtual try-on, and managed cross-functional teams bringing new retail tech to life. At Louis Vuitton, I drove omnichannel testing for showroom launches across Latin America. Most recently, I’ve partnered with Pauline Brown’s Aesthetic Intelligence Labs to help brands like HOKA refine aesthetic strategy, storytelling, and cultural positioning. My career began after Amherst College at Saks Fifth Avenue, where I worked on the digital e-commerce team — sparking my passion for the intersection of luxury and technology.

I also explore the cultural side of fashion through editorial and thought leadership. As a contributing author for *Vogue Business*, I write about blockchain, innovation, and the future of luxury. Earlier in my career, I worked with Moda Operandi and Rosie Assoulin on creative and editorial projects. Beyond fashion houses, I’ve curated exhibitions at Amherst College’s MEAD Museum and organized global treks for Columbia’s Retail & Luxury Goods Club, connecting students with brands across Milan, Paris, and London.

Outside of work, I love traveling, learning new languages, and experiencing different cultures — and I’m always excited to make new friends along the way.

My work is guided by the belief that fashion is not just about clothes, but about identity, culture, and innovation — and I’m passionate about building bridges between those worlds.
